BOATING and SKIING
The Griffith Boat Club has a rich history in the recreation and competitive boating and skiing arena.
From humble beginnings in 1955, a handful of boating enthusiasts transformed the marshy overgrown foreshore of the southern lake into a usable boating facility. In 1963 permission was granted for the club to move to the “big lake” which is where the club house and facilities are located today. Through its formative years the club was host to regatta events, with races in various classes, ski races, slalom courses and even some kite skiing.
The Griffith Boat Club is an ideal place to hold functions. The scenic, expansive grounds can
accommodate functions of any size.
There are numerous locations to place any size marque for a wedding, 21st or anything else you may want to celebrate. The grounds have several locations for the capturing the perfect wedding photo. The club house has a large coolroom for storage and you can arrange for catering on site.
